Here’s what you need:
● 1 Cup of Water
● 1 Cup Milk (Dairy OR Non-Dairy)
● 1 Tablespoons Loose Black Tea OR 1 Black Tea Pod
● 1 Tablespoon Fresh Ginger, Grated
● 1 Cinnamon Stick
● 4-5 Cardamoms, Crushed
● 1-2 Tablespoons Honey OR Maple Syrup
● Zest Of Half Orange
● Zest Of Half Lemon
For Garnish
● Orange OR Lemon Slice
● Cinnamon Stick

Step 1
Prep the ingredients
- Prep the Spice Blend : In a small bowl, combine the grated ginger, crushed cardamom pods, cloves, and cinnamon stick.

Brew the Herbal Chai
- In a small pot, bring 1 cup of water to a boil. Alternatively, put 1 Black Tea Pod into your Keurig machine and select 6oz for the brew.
- Once boiling, add tea leaves and the spice blend to the water. Reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes.
- Strain the tea leaves if using loose tea.
