Step 1
Prep the ingredients
- Prep the Berries : If using fresh berries, wash them thoroughly. If using frozen berries, let them thaw slightly. Lightly mash some of the berries with a muddler to release their juices.
Step 2
Brew the Green Tea
- In a small pot, bring 1 cup of water to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, remove from heat.
- Add the Black Raspberry Green Tea leaves and let it steep for 5-7 minutes.
- Strain the tea leaves if using loose tea.
- Alternatively, Insert 1 Green Tea Pod into your Keurig machine. Select 6 oz of water for the best brew.
Step 3
Mix everything together
- Add Sweetener: After steeping, stir in the honey or agave syrup while the tea is still warm.
- Add the Berries: Let the tea cool slightly, then add the mashed berries to the brewed tea. Stir gently to combine.
- Add Ice Cubes: Serve over ice cubes in a glass for a refreshing, cold tea.
- Infuse with Mint: Add the fresh mint leaves to the tea. Gently bruise the leaves by pressing them with the back of a spoon to release their flavor.
- Add Garnish: For an extra touch, garnish with a few fresh berries, a sprig of mint, or a lemon slice.
This single-serving recipe is perfect for a quick refreshment. Feel free to adjust the sweetness and amount of berries to your taste!
